Dual Authentication with NTLM and Forms
I have several Site Collections with data (lists, documents, etc.) that we wish to publish through our portal (Luminis, based on Uportal). The Web Application uses Windows authentication and since there is no Single Sign-on through the portal to Sharepoint, the users outside the network (students and home users) need to enter their credentials every time. To avoid this, we'd like to institute SSO to the sites using Form-based authentication to Active Directory, alongside the current authentication. 1. Can I give more/better information to help you understand our situation? 2. Is dual authentication possible, if not reasonable? 3. Can I get a general idea of how to go about it?
